What motivated you to write this song?
DOE: Hatred and gossip (from others, towards me) were the motivators for me to write this
song. Working in the music industry you learn that people don't always have your best
interests in mind and will sometimes do things to sabotage your success so that they can
get ahead.
What message were you trying to convey?
DOE: Never give up on whatever you’re doing in life. Don’t let people tell you anything
to hinder your process of reaching goals that you want to achieve.
Are there any stories that you would like to share in relevance to the song?
DOE: I’d rather keep the specifics to myself (LOL), but you will hear more of it in the
album (L.A.W.K.I. - Life As We Know It), which is scheduled to be released on
April 1, 2014
